From the Learning Commons…

We are nearing the end of library visits for another year.  Students will visit one final time during the week of June 10.  Leading up to this deadline, there has been a concentrated effort to ensure that students are returning books on a weekly basis.

Books that are not returned by June 17 are assumed lost.  The replacement cost of the book will be included on a student’s on-line account for payment.  This also pertains to books damaged beyond repair.  If the book is found after June 17, it can still be returned to the library and the fee will be removed.  If the payment creates a hardship for your family, please contact either Mrs. Gelfand or Mrs. Johnson in the office (403.777.6880).

Updates from School Council & Friends of Parkland Way

CASINO UPDATE - We are so excited to announce that our next fundraising Casino is officially set for October 23 & 24, 2024.  Our previous casino brought in approximately $70,000.  These funds have & are still being spent supporting our school in so many ways - residencies, supplies, equipment, technology, books, resources, & more! We cannot make this next casino happen without the support of many volunteers. We need to fill each & every shift otherwise we do not get to participate. You do not need police clearance to volunteer for the casino so any adult in your family/friend circle is able to sign up: https://bit.ly/POWCasino2024
