We have had an eventful week. Thank you to all the volunteers who have joined us on walks, zoo trips, butterfly releases and helped in the classrooms.
We have welcomed Mrs. Reichardt as Acting Assistant Principal while Mrs. Johnson is filling in for Mrs. Gelfand.
Thank you to all who supported our school fundraiser by buying some plants. They were beautiful. The grade 3 gardening club has really enjoyed tending to our front perennial beds, and it is looking great!
Many students have been needing a lot of water to stay hydrated during these sunny days.
Reminders & Ramblings
Transportation Registration is Now Open
Walk zones for next year have been adjusted so that more students are now eligible to ride the school bus. Check your inbox for an email from the CBE for eligibility information. Registration for school bus service for the 2025-26 school year is now open through your child's MyCBE account. Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes in time for the start of the next school year. CBE Transportation will continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 22 deadline will be delayed. Confirmed routes are posted in late August. For those who register after the June 22 deadline, it may take until mid-October before those students is able to ride the bus. Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025. Don’t delay!

Please return library books so we can avoid adding missed book fees to your child’s accounts.

Warm Weather & Walks to Fish Creek Park
This upcoming week is looking like an amazing forecast. Many classes are hoping to head to Fish Creek at least once and maybe more. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather and has a water bottle!
