National Indigenous Peoples’ Day 

In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and in alignment with the CBE Education Plan, Prince of Wales acknowledges and supports the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's (TRC) Calls to Action, and makes the following commitment to action for the 2024-2025 school year: 

Prince of Wales School will commit to building student capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy and mutual respect. As a school community, we will use Indigenous literature to guide the learning and exploration of Indigenous fine arts and artists cross the vast regions of Canada. 

In making our commitment, Call to Action #63 (iii) offered inspiration.

Transportation Registration – Deadline June 22  

This is a reminder to families that the deadline to register for busing for the 2025-26 school year is June 22, 2025  

The preferred method of registration is through your MyCBE Account; however it is also possible to register using this form.  

Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year.  

Registrations will be accepted after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 22 deadline will be delayed.  

Confirmed routes are posted in August. For those who register after the June 22 deadline, it may take until mid-October before your child is able to ride the bus. 

Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025.

Report Cards 

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students starting Wednesday, June 25 until July 25, 2025 through MyCBE. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades and attendance information.  We strongly encourage families to print copies of report cards as they are only available for viewing for one month.

Wednesday, June 25 – Report Cards Available to parents 
Thursday, June 26 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – Early Dismissal at 11:45am 
Friday, June 27 - Report Card Appeals Day
