A huge thank you to the events committee for a tremendous job on the Hallowe’en Dance.  All students and staff enjoyed the decorations in the hallway.  Over 500 people attended the dance. Families appreciated, once again, to come together as a school community.  Thank you for a fun evening! 

 

Remembrance Day 

Mrs. Warrener, Ms. Gilbank and Ms. Martin’s classes will be hosting our Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday, November 7th at 10:30am.  Students are welcome to wear their Scouts/Embers/Girl Guides uniforms. Each year, wearing a poppy reminds us to honour and remember those who served and continue to serve to keep us safe. PoW will be collecting donations starting on Monday., November 4th. Your donations help support veterans, their families, and our community. Every little bit counts and makes a difference! If you can, please consider making a small donation. Thank you for showing kindness and support! 

 

Book Fair 

Prince of Wales will be hosting a book fair from November 25 to 28.  This venture is a fund-raiser to ensure that our library collection remains engaging, vibrant and relevant for all students at Prince of Wales. 

These events don’t happen without a lot of support. It takes a crew of volunteers to set-up the Fair, run the event and then eventually take down the Fair.  Volunteering gives you an opportunity to meet some of the other parents in the school community.  Further information regarding volunteering will be sent in the weeks ahead. 

 

Noon Supervision 

All students who are staying for lunch must be registered for the Noon Supervision Program to continue to access this program. Log on to your MYCBE account, click on Student fees and service registration and select Noon Supervision.
