Conferences 

Conferences are coming up at the end of November.  You will need to sign into your MyCBE/PowerSchool account to book your conference.  

Conferences times are as follows: 

Kindergarten Thursday, November 28th – 8:00 – 2:30, 3:30 – 7:30 

**Please note that Thursday Kindergarten still has class on November 28th** 

Friday, November 29 – 8:00 –12:00 

Grades 1- 6 Thursday, November 28th – 3:30 –7:30 

Friday, November 29 – 8:00 – 12:00

Book Fair 

Prince of Wales will be hosting a book fair from November 25 to 28.  This venture is a fund-raiser to ensure that our library collection remains engaging, vibrant and relevant for all students at Prince of Wales. 

These events don’t happen without a lot of support. It takes a crew of volunteers to set-up the Fair, run the event and then eventually take down the Fair.  Volunteering gives you an opportunity to meet some of the other parents in the school community.  Further information regarding volunteering will be sent in the weeks ahead. 

 

News from School Council and Friends of Parkland Way 

Bottle Drive 

Parent Council will be having a bottle drive on November 28 & 29 during conferences.  You can bring your bag of bottles and drop them off at the front of the school before your conference time.  Thank you for supporting our ongoing fundraising efforts for the school. 

Growing Smiles Fundraiser 

Don't miss out on a variety of beautiful holiday indoor and outdoor flowers, wreaths, and arrangements at great prices! These make great gifts for the holiday season as well as stunning decor at home. Orders are open now until Thursday, November 27th. Purchases will be available for pickup on Friday, December 13th.
