Many thanks to all the families who joined us for our Welcome Back BBQ on Wednesday evening. it was wonderful to come together as a school community and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather. Our families enjoyed meeting other families from their class and being able to connect with their child’s teacher. Thank you to school council for their support and providing the ice-cream enjoyed by all. 

Terry Fox Run & Assembly 

We will be having our annual Terry Fox run on Tuesday, September 19. We will first begin with a school assembly at 9:15. After recess, all classes will walk to Fish Creek ridge, where we will complete the run. Families are welcome to attend the assembly. Conferences 

Parent-Teacher conferences are coming up.  Conferences are set for Thursday, Sept. 21 from 3:30-7:30 and Friday, Sept. 22 from 8:00-12:00. The conference booking system is now open. You will need a CBE account to access the booking system.  If you need support with this, please contact the office @ 777-6880.  

Council & Fundraising Updates 

Our next school council meeting is on Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30 in the learning commons. If you would like to join online send an email to our co-council chairs at powcouncil@gmail.com and they will forward an online link. 

A form highlighting a fundraiser was sent home with students today, one per family. Please note the quick turn-around time. Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts.
