Thank you to all our families for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences. The building was filled with positive energy and excitement as families enjoyed meeting with their child’s classroom teacher. Thank you for your continued support with your child’s learning.  

Terry Fox Run 

It was another successful Terry Fox Assembly and Run.  Students in grade 5 /6 did a wonderful job presenting to the whole school.  The sun was shining as we ran along the ridge.  Thank you to the host of volunteers who supported classrooms walking to the ridge as well as the run. We would also like to thank school council for providing a healthy snack for all students after the run.  As a school, we set a goal of $700.00.  We exceeded that and have collected approximately $850.00.  We will continue to collect donations this week.

Demographic and Authorization Forms Online 

These forms need to be completed by the end of October. This is a yearly expectation of all families.  Please go into your PowerSchool Account – click on the School Engage Tab to complete these forms. 

Truth & Reconciliation Week 

September 25 through to September 29 is Truth & Reconciliation Week within CBE. The intention of this week is to honour residential school survivors, their families and communities. This week will honour Every Child Matters and Orange Shirt day.  Prince of Wales has set Thursday, September 28 as Orange shirt day.  All students are encouraged to wear orange. We will be having a whole school assembly on this day at 10:15 in the field. Parents are invited to join us.  Classrooms will be engaged in meaningful learning throughout the week.   

Student Code of Conduct 

Parents are encouraged to read through the CBE’S Student Code of Conduct. 

This document outlines guiding principles and responsibilities as to what is expected from students and parents with respect to the school.
