And just like that, we are partway into March! Hopefully everyone has a great weekend, and we are looking forward to a great rest of the month. Here are the updates you need for the week ahead:
Pi Day Grade 2 Fundraiser
Next week is our last week to bring in money for our Pi Day fundraiser. Students can bring in cash donations until March 13 and pledge them to staff members and teachers of their choice. On Friday, March 13, at 11:15 AM, come to the gym to watch the fun and see your teacher get a pie or two in the face.
Report Cards
Parents can still access student report cards online through the MyCBE account. These were released last Tuesday.
March Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on the afternoon / evening of March 19 from 3:30 – 7:30 PM for grades 1-6 and the morning of March 20 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM for K-6. Details will come your way soon. We understand that these dates take place during Eid al-Fitr celebrations, and hope that parents can join us. If an alternate time is required, please connect with your child’s homeroom teacher.
Parents, please note, booking your Parent Teacher Conference is done through your MyCBE PowerSchool account. The system opens on Thursday, March 11.
- Please note - Kindergarten Conference dates will be extended to accommodate all families. Please see times and dates available for booking with Ms. Rowsell when logging into PowerSchool on March 12.

Spring Break Dates
Mark your calendars. March break dates are March 20 (conference day for families, no school for students) to March 29 with students returning to school on Monday, March 30.
Movie Night Thank You
Thank you to all those who were involved in hosting the family movie night. It was a huge success! We raised over $1200 for the new outdoor gathering space!
Outdoor School Parent Meeting
April 1 is the Parent/Meeting for outdoor school for this year.
Book Fair
We still have three time slots available if you know of other parents in the school community who might be available to volunteer. Those shifts are during Mar 19 (5:30 to 8:00 PM) and Mar 20 (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM). As a thank-you for signing up early, we have two $25 gift certificates that can be used at the Book Fair. These are a gift from Scholastic, and in no way hinder our earnings during the Fair. The draw for these gift certificates will take place on March 17 at 8:00 AM SHARP. Your conferences must be set-up before that date to ensure your name is entered in the draw. Good luck!

Yearbook
The yearbook flyer for purchasing 2025-26 yearbooks have been sent home with oldest/only students. Website and Yearbook ID Code are on the flyer. The cost is $20. The yearbooks will arrive before the end of the school year.
