Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. The first few days have been a wonderful start to this school year. We are excited about this school year and look forward to connecting with all our families.  

Each week I will be posting an update to the school website. Please watch for the school messenger saying that the website has been updated. There is always a lot of information to share! 

Bussing 

Please remember to check your MyCBE account for information regarding your designated bus stop. We have 3 buses this year and it is important that you are using the stop designated for you. If you have not yet registered for bussing, please complete this as soon as possible as it may take up to six week to confirm your application. 

Welcome Back BBQ 

All families are invited to attend a welcome back BBQ on Wednesday, September 13 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. You can pre-order your food through the Healthy Hunger website for the BBQ (see below). Families will have a chance to meet the classroom teacher and socialize with other families. Stay tuned for further information.  

Communication from Teachers 

Starting next week, teachers will be messaging out classroom updates on a weekly basis. If you are not receiving emails from the school, please contact the front office. 

Subscribe to stay informed 

Most school messages are sent to parents through SchoolMessenger. It’s a mass communication tool that allows schools to easily and securely send email, If these emails include any commercial content, for example yearbook sales, Healthy Hunger fun lunch, fundraising information, you must have subscribed to receive them. To avoid missing out on these pieces of information we invite you to subscribe at this link. 

News from School Council 

Healthy Hunger Lunches 

Our Fun Lunches are scheduled and the first one is September 20 or 21 from Subway. (The alternate date for our students in Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten). Orders must be made on-line by Sept 15. 

Please notice that we have Lunches and Treat days scheduled. You will notice that our treat days have less options and are not meant to replace a home-brought lunch but to be a fun addition to it. 

You will also see an event on Sep 13. 

***This is a Welcome BBQ scheduled for after school hours 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM for the entire family. To order please feel free to order under your Prince of Wales child's name.***

2. ADD a STUDENT to your account. You will find our school (PRINCE of WALES ELEMENTARY) in the drop down list and then you can pick your student's class. 

3. Take a look at the list of lunches and treats we have set up for this year 

4. You can order as many or as few as you like.  

5. Pay on-line through Health Hunger 

  

Please Note: Orders must be placed by the Friday preceding the event date.
